Halloween!!!!

So I officially put up all my Halloween decorations this weekend! I LOVE Halloween and this cold weather we have been having lately makes me even more excited that it is almost here!
So I have been looking for recipes and crafts to try for Halloween this year and I have found some great ones! (Thank you Martha Stewart) So I thought I would share them with all of you! Enjoy!

It may look like a swarm of spiders got into the henhouse, but these eggs are another Halloween hoax. Webs are "spun" with the help of blueberries, which are added to the water as the eggs cook. (Like magic, you can't taste the berries.) Peel shells before you set out the eggs, or leave some behind, if you like. Serve with gray sea salt for an extra-grim presentation. Note: Wipe up any spills quickly; blueberry juice stains.

  • 1 dozen large eggs

  • 8 cups water

  • 2 cups frozen blueberries

  • Gray sea salt, for serving

  • Freshly ground black pepper, for serving

  • Now I LOVE mashed potatoes so I HAVE to try this one!

When you've already got costumes on your mind, why not disguise dinner as well? Classic meatloaf is dressed up with two special side dishes. We used a pastry bag to pipe mashed potatoes into ghosts and sweet potatoes into pumpkins. The ghosts' eyes are black sesame seeds. For the pumpkins, pecan halves make the stems and bits of cilantro become leaves.

Here are some cute Ghost shaped sandwhiches! Great for a grilled cheese or even just PB&J~!

Yum! "I Scream Sandwitches" they look so cute and good!

Cut off the top quarter of an orange. Scoop out flesh with a spoon, then carve eyes, noses, and grins with a utility knife.
